Who we are

About Flexbridge

A small team of IEC 61499 specialists — researchers turned builders — working to make distributed industrial automation practical for everyone.

Our mission

Making IEC 61499 the default for industrial automation

Flexbridge started from a simple observation: the IEC 61499 standard offers a far better foundation for distributed industrial control than legacy PLC architectures — but adoption has been slow because the tools, training, and expertise weren't accessible enough.

We are here to change that. Through consulting, products, and training, we help companies adopt IEC 61499 without betting their production on a risky big-bang transition. And through our research work, we push the standard itself forward.
